PARENTS’ AND PLAYERS’ AGREEMENT

 

Training and Selection

 

1.         Training is mandatory for players who wish to be eligible for match day selection.

2.        Notification of absence from training must be given in advance, or if this is not possible the manager must be notified on Friday evening for the player to be eligible for selection. If the manager is not available then a message should be left and the assistant manager must be contacted.

 

Discipline and Conduct

 

1.         Behavior, which brings the Association into disrepute, will not be tolerated from players, parents or supporters of the team at any game, training session or event.

2.        Players, parents or supporters involved in such misconduct may cause the said player or players to be suspended from games, training or asked to leave the squad.

 

Games

 

1.         At games parents are asked to remain on the opposite side of the pitch to the management and the substitutes.

2.        There will be a line of markers away from the touch line and parents are asked to remain behind this at all times and should not move to a position behind either of the goals.

3.        We ask parents to support the team. However all comments must be positive and directed towards Liverpool players only. Under no circumstances must any player, either from Liverpool or from the opposition be belittled.

4.        Under no circumstances must parents or supporters coach the team or individuals from the side.

5.        Under no circumstances must parents or supporters criticize the referee or question the referee during or after the game.

 

Preparation for Games and Training

 

1.         Players must arrive in good time for games and training. Typically no later than 4.30 for training and ready to play at 4.45. Times for games will be given at training.

2.        Players must eat well and get to bed early the two nights before a game.

3.        Players are responsible for ensuring that all kit is packed for training or the game.

4.        Only Liverpool Schoolboys training and playing kit should be worn at training and games.

5.        Shin pads must be worn at both training and games.

6.        Players are responsible for bringing their own drinks or drinks bottle to training and games.

7.        Liverpool Schoolboys “Uniform” must be worn to all games.

 

Kit

 

1.         Players will receive several items of kit and uniform. Some are to keep; some are to be returned. The items listed below are to be returned at the end of the season. Should any items be missing we will have to ask for the replacement costs.

·          All playing kit

·          All training kit

 

 

I agree to abide by the conditions, and I understand that breach of this agreement may result in the parent or player being suspended from games or asked to leave the squad.
